RespAI is live on the fireground with Holyrood Fire Department

Our first pilot is running. Holyrood firefighters carry a multi-gas detector mounted on the self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). It tracks total volatile organic compound (VOC) exposure as it builds across the call, and watches CO, H₂S, LEL, and O₂ for acute safety. The chief dashboard shows readings while the call is still going, and every response adds to each firefighter’s permanent exposure record.

Roadmap

What we’re building next: a purpose-built “e-nose” sensor

Today the pilot detector reports total VOC exposure: an indicator of what a crew was exposed to, not a cancer-risk score. We’re building something narrower. Our own compact "e-nose" sensor is in development, designed to pick out individual carcinogens on the fireground. Progress will show up here.
